Singer Brenda Lee, who’s “uh huh honey” lyric from her 1960 hit “Sweet Nothin’s” lives on in Kanye West’s song “Bound 2,” is commenting on his 11-time use of it.

Lee admits she’s “speechless” that the song has breathed a new life and never imagined it would be accompanied by someone almost naked on a motorcycle.

“How in the world does he know Brenda Lee?" was the first thought that popped into her mind, Lee told E! News. "But I understand that he's quite a smart guy and knows his stuff so I'm honored that he knew the song."

As for West’s fiancé Kim Kardashian topless in the video, she said she hasn’t seen it.

"I never thought a Brenda Lee song would be used with somebody naked on a motorcycle! But you know that's what's so fascinating about this business—you never know what's coming around the next corner...I'm proud that [West] knows that people that came before him,” she said.

The video, which West debuted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has received so much attention that Seth Rogen and James Franco even spoofed it. Both Kardashian and West loved it.
