Today in Cypress, Texas three people were gunned down in a residential neighborhood 25 miles of downtown Houston. The victims were shot in the head and died from their wounds, two wounded victims have been airlifted to the Memorial Hermann Texas Trauma Institute in critical condition.

Thus far in the investigation the shooter has not been identified, according to The Kansas City Star . Eyewitness reports claim that the shooter executed the victims in a one bedroom apartment and fled. A motive has not yet been established, and there is no evidence of any involvement from a third party.

A local resident Terry Noisom of the apartment building claims that the rate of illegal activity of illicit drug use and theft has increased considerably, ABC News quotes Noisom simply stating "It's gotten bad."

The incident occurred ten days after a local shooting at a birthday party, involving two high school students who died- several were injured.
