Amazon has signed its first exclusive deal with a film studio, agreeing to be the only place where movie fans can stream Spring Breakers, The Bling Ring and other films from the young A24.

The online retail giant said that the multi-year deal will bring A24’s films to Prime Instant Video after they are first released on Blu-ray and DVD. It is the first time Amazon has agreed to an exclusive content deal like this and it means that Netflix users will not get these films.

“We are always looking for new ways to bring our Prime Instant Video customers, unique, exclusive movies and TV that we think they will love,” Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon. He noted that the physical copies of The Bling Ring and Spring Breakers are best selling items on the site. “This new deal with A24 allows us to offer those same titles to our Prime Instant Video customers soon after they are released on DVD and Blu-Ray and at no additional cost,” Beale explained.

At this moment, the deal only includes two other films, in addition to the ones previously mentioned. James Ponsoldt’s The Spectacular Now with Shailene Woodley and Sally Potter’s Ginger & Rosa with Elle Fanning will also be available. Two more upcoming releases - Under the Skin with Scarlett Johansson and The Rover with Robert Pattinson - will be available soon.

According to TheWrap, one of A24’s other upcoming releases is Enemy, the next film from Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve.

Amazon recently launched its first two original series, Alpha House and Betas.
