Sometimes a small idea can grow into something larger than anyone had planned on. For Avalon Landing, that was how the band came to be. The idea for Avalon Landing was sparked in Buffalo, New York over a meal. The band was then formed ten months later, across the United States in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Avalon Landing has now refined their musical sound and has released their album Reside. Reside is an impressive album that combines, rock ‘n’ roll influences and indie sounds, in a way that comes together and really grabs the attention of music listeners.

Avalon Landing has a sound similar to that of Yellowcard or Cute Is What We Aim For, but the lyrical delivery has depth and tone that really helps to advance the album past that of a simple indie release.

This record comes out of the gate swinging with the first track, “About Face.” “About Face,” is aggressive track with a pop hook that really moves Avalon Landing from being a unknown band to a mainstream rock ‘n’ roll presence.

This album feels well thought out, really embraces high quality production and balances vocal delivery with the instrumentals.

This type of music has been making a resurgence in the music industry and Avalon Landing is releasing Reside at just the right time.

Stand out tracks on the album include, “About Face,” “Chemicals” and “Escape Yourself.”
