Bob Dylan is without a doubt musical royalty. Back in 1965 “Like a Rolling Stone,” was released. Now in 2013, experts consider this as one of the greatest songs ever to have been released. It was only a matter of time before the classic song would get the music video treatment.
An interactive video was released and it is the first music video to be released for “Like a Rolling Stone.” The video allows viewers to flip through 16 channels that mimic TV formats such as game shows, reality TV and shopping networks, The Star reported.
People on each channel can be seen lip-synching the words to “Like a Rolling Stone.”
One interactive channel that fans can view is that of Bob Dylan performing. There are plans to add additional channels as time goes on.
The video was released in conjunction with the release of Dylan’s 47-CD box set, Mashable added. Columbia/Legacy Recordings, Dylan’s record label, hired digital agency Interlude for the production of the video.
