Britney Spears’ newest single off of her new album Britney Jean, “Alien,” was leaked ahead of its scheduled release date.
The song’s producer, William Orbit, who has previously worked with Madonna, told fans on Twitter that the song that was leaked was the wrong version of the song.

“It's the wrong version of 'Alien' that's out there. Right song, but had wrong chorus notes, (now fixed) on THE version,” he wrote.

According to USA Today, Spears has called the song “really great” and “really cool” before.

Meanwhile, Spears is gearing up for her Las Vegas residency and has already started rehearsals. She took to Twitter to express her excitement for the show to start, writing “Week 1 of rehearsal = incredible!!!! This is going to be the best show I've ever done and I CAN'T WAIT to share it with you all.”

“Alien” has been pulled from YouTube but Huffington Post has the audio version.

Britney Jean hits stores Dec. 3. She has already release "Work Bitch" and "Perfume."
