Britney Spears has released a new single called “Perfume,” a follow-up to the Britney Jean single “Work Bitch.”

Spears, who will be launching her Vegas residency next month, unveiled the new single on her Facebook page.

She told fans, “This is like sharing a piece of my heart.”

The song is about someone cheating on her, which she said hits “close to home.” It’s unclear who she could be talking about, but she did end her engagement to Jason Trawick in January. She now has a new boyfriend, David Lucado.

"'Perfume' is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone," she told E! News. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that."

Spears’ eighth studio album Britney Jean will be available on Dec. 3. This album is her most personal to date, which she has said numerous times.
