Four suspects were arrested for breaking into four cars in Northern California Sunday. Their incriminating evidence? A photo they posted on Instagram of a huge fast food purchase made with a stolen credit card.
According to CBS News, three adults suspects along with one juvenile broke into four parked cars in Rocklin, Ca. And stole various items, including GPS units and wallets.
Following the burglaries, the suspects went to Carl's Jr. restaurant and bought about $120 in burgers, tacos and other food items, and then posted a photo on Instagram of their buy.
Luckily, the cashier at the restaurant jotted down the suspects' license plate number after their suspicious purchase. When the owner of the stolen credit card contacted police, Carl's Jr. employees along with the Instagram photos were able to help officials catch the suspects.
Tavion Spignor, 19, Leroy Jackson, 25, Malek Morgan, 20, and a minor were arrested for burglary, conspiracy, possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of personal identification.
The Sacromento Bee reports that the full drive-thru order consisted of "five $6 burgers, five orange creme shakes, three barbeque chicken quesadillas, one bacon Swiss chicken sandwich, two double western sandwiches, two orders of fried zucchini, six orders of cross-cut fries, two teriyaki burgers, with added bacon, two barbeque chicken sandwiches, with added bacon, five southwest chicken tacos, with added sour cream."
Definitely suspicious.
