With the much anticipated Hunger Games sequel just days away, fans are fawning over the raving reviews that have resulted from the premiere of Catching Fire. The adapted film series won over audiences with the first installation making the second, action packed fantasy film one of the strongest box office hits of the year.

Aside from the talented cast, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, the film has gotten fantastic reviews for it’s impressive craft. Not only has the film generated the newest fandom, it has gone beyond critics expectations for filmmaking.

The Hollywood Reporter raved about the film referring to star Jennifer Lawrence as “the superb center of it all” as the heroine Katniss Everdeen. Continuing the complimentary comments about JLaw, THR stated that the film was "serving up everything from Suzanne Collins' eventful second installment in her trilogy about teenage warrior and rebel Katniss Everdeen that fans could possibly want to see, this is a safe, serviceable, carefully crafted action drama in which the subversive seeds planted in the first story take welcome root."

Rolling Stone provided similar feedback about the powerful second installment. In a recent review the magazine relayed that “Catching Fire, which builds on the box-office and critical success of last year's Hunger Games, is spectacular in every sense of the word.” The publication continued to describe the box-office power house with the daring description, “It's also darker, deeper and more dangerously subversive.”

Amidst the beginning of the holiday season and one of film’s most fruitful times of the year, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is sure to set off the season on a hot note. The all star cast, creative costuming and first class filmmaking style is sure to deliver fans and audiences the thrilling cinematic adventure they’ve been patiently awaiting.
