Disney’s Newsies Broadway show is heading out on tour next fall, Disney Theatrical Productions said today. The Tony Award winning show will hit cities across the country starting with Philadelphia in Fall 2014 and continuing through 2015.

Producers said that the tour will begin with performances in Schenectady, New York before the official opening in Philadelphia, reports BroadwayWorld. It will continue for 43 weeks, playing in 205 cities, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Toronto, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

The Los Angeles Times notes that the show will be staged at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood for four weeks in 2015, although exact dates weren’t announced.

Newsies began as a 1992 film that starred Christian Bale. Alan Menken had composed for the film and also contributed new music for the show, which is still running at the Nederlander Theatre in New York. It has already made back the $5 million investment.

The show was nominated for seven Tonys, but only won for choreography and original music.

Disney’s theatrical arm has had a busy week. Earlier today, it was announced that the company will produce an adaptation of Shakespeare in Love in London and a Princess Bride musical for Broadway is also in the works.

The company has also toured productions of The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins.
