Eminem and Rihanna have already made music history with their single, “Love The Way You Lie,” but now the duo is back again for “The Monster,” which is featured on MMLP2.
Eminem spoke to Sway from MTV News and explained why he thought Rihanna was the best fit for “The Monster.” The “Rap God” detailed that both Rihanna and himself have a perception in the industry of being a little nuts, MTV News reported. Emimen added that once he finished the lyrics, his sent the track to Rihanna because he heard her on the track since he first listened to the beat.
The track features Rihanna on the hook, singing "I'm friends with the monster, that's under my bed." The hook showcases Rihanna facing her inner demons, Eminem deals with his rise to fame and the negative impacts throughout the track with his lyrics.
The single is already number one in the U.K., "The Monster" is the seventh number one hit for both artists, The Guardian reported.
It has been confirmed by Eminem’s manager that a video will be coming for “The Monster” added MTV News.
