Twentieth Century Fox has announced that the studio is pushing back the release dates of a few of its films currently in the works, such as the Fantastic Four reboot, Secret Service and Assassin's Creed.
The Fantastic Four reboot film will now be out June 16, 2015, Yahoo! U.K. reports. The move to the summer date from March is likely that June is the only month in the summer of 2015 not currently featuring a super hero film.
Fox hasn't been moving quickly on the film since announcing there was a reboot in the works back in 2009. In 2012, the studio brought in Josh Trank to help the feature. There have been rumors of potential casting, such as Michael B Jordan for Johnny Storm, but nothing concrete.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox also announced that the Matthew Vaughn directed Secret Service will be pushed back from Nov. 14, 2014 to March 6, 2015 where FF was.
That movie already has a cast of Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine. The movie is based off of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbon's graphic novel of the same name.
Assassin's Creed, which was set for June 19, 2015 is now going to be released on Aug. 7, 2015. The studio also announced Paul Feig's Susan Cooper, starring Melissa McCarthy, will be out May 22, 2015.
