Tony Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman will host TNT's annual Christmas in Washington, a holiday special covering a White House gala in Washington, D.C.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Prisoners star will be joined by the Backstreet Boys, Sheryl Crow, Anna Kendrick, Janelle Monáe and Train’s Pat Monahan—all of whom will participate in special performances for president Barack Obama. As if that weren't enough celebrities in one house, basketball star Charles Barkley will attend the party as well, perhaps as Santa, in order to benefit the Children's National Health System.
The concert, which will be produced by Emmy-winning George Stevens, Jr. and Michael Stevens, is a holiday tradition attended by the President and the First Lady every year, along with several other VIPs in Washington.
USA Today reports that the 32nd anniversary of Christmas in Washington will be taped at the National Building Museum on Dec. 15 and will premier on TNT on Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
