Lionsgate is considering creating a Hunger Games theme park. The theme park would include many aspects of the feature films and novels.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Loinsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer recently discussed the box office success of The Hunger Games, the upcoming sequel Catching Fire and how the company had been prompted by investors about a possible franchise-themed amusement park.

Feltheimer added that Lionsgate had been approached by two different territories regarding The Hunger Games theme park.

Deadline.com added that Lionsgate is pursuing the offers but no additional information has been released.

The entire Hunger Games franchise will be brought to the big screen, with the final novel, Mockingjay being split into two movies. The first Mockingjay movie will hit theaters in 2014.

Catching Fire is set to open in theaters on Nov. 22. Lionsgate is already seeing box office numbers from presale tickets for Catching Fire. Catching Fire will star Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Watch the trailer here:
