Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart have signed on to star alongside each other again in the action comedy American Ultra. They previously starred together in Adventureland.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported the news that the two young stars would join the film, which is being directed by Project X's Nima Nourizadeh.
Max Landis, who penned the script for the found footage film, wrote American Ultra. Likely Story's Anthony Bregman and Circle of Confusion's David Alpert and Britton Rizzio will serve as the film's producers.
Eisenberg will play a slacker, who is dating Stewart, and he becomes a government target because of his past. Bregman said, "Simply put, American Ultra will be the most fun you can possibly have in a movie theater without the use of drugs, fireworks or canola oil."
As earlier reported, the Twilight actress joined Tim Blake Nelson's new film Anesthesia.
Nelson wrote and will direct the project and Stewart's role is unknown. The movie follows a group of New Yorkers affected by a philosophy teacher.
