Stars Dame Judi Dench and Steve Coogan are being nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor at the British International Film Awards.
Their movie, Philomena, is about a couple who visit Paris.
The winners of the awards will be announced on December 8 at the awards ceremony in London.
Other films up for awards against Philomena are Metro Manilla, The Selfish Giant, Starred Up, and Le Week-end.
The last movie on that list is also about a couple’s trip to Paris, according to BBC.
Coogan, who stars in the film, also co-wrote the movie with Jeff Pope, said Hollywood Reporter.
Philomena has recently been in headlines due to its win of an appeal from the MPAA, the film rating board. The board had initially given the movie an “R” rating, but, after a plea from the filmmakers of Philomena, the Weinstein Company, the MPAA reduced the rating to a PG-13.
Philomena is set to be released in the United States on November 22.
