Katy Perry announced she will be taking her Prismatic World Tour on the road starting in May 2014 and shows include dates in Glasgow, Manchester, and 3 nights in London’s O2 arena.
The announcement came via Twitter in several posts including a picture of the tour poster that included dates, as well as the announcement that Icona Pop will be the supporting act. Miley Cyrus announced that the Swedish duo will also be opening for her on her Bangerz Tour.

Perry also stated on Twitter that more global dates will be announced soon and that she “can’t wait to get closer to ALL of you than ever before” leaving us guessing at possibly a more intimate show, smaller venues (?) or an in-the-round stage setting.
Katy Perry released Prism in October and entered the Billboards Top 200 chart at number 1. Her single “Roar” released in August topped the Billboard Hot 100. “Roar” and her newest single “Unconditionally” still sit comfortably in the top 25.
