Keith Richards is reportedly set to reprise his role as Captain Teague, and Jack Sparrow's dad, in Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

According to the Daily Mail, who first learned of the news, a source confirmed the casting to the site.

"After months of talks, Keith has signed on to rejoin Johnny Depp in this fifth Pirates film," the source said. "Cameras are scheduled to start rolling in October."

The news isn't that surprising as Richards said in 2012 that he would likely return. "I spoke to Johnny a couple weeks ago and he said, 'Are you up for another one?'" He wouldn't speak any further on the movie, simply saying, "I can leave it at that because I know no more, but I do have the costume!"

The release date is currently unknown for the film, other than it will be out sometime during summer 2016, First Showing reports. The film was set for July 10, 2015, but was delayed as the script was only an outline and wouldn't be finished in time to start production.

Daily Mail notes that the plot of Dead Men Tell No Tales is about Captain Jack and crew looking for The Trident. The villain is Captain Brand, who is a ghost, and is not too happy with Jack - though who ever is?
