Kia is recalling 80,000 Sedona minivans to fix parts for rusted suspensions.
MSN Autos reported that the lower control arms can rust or snap if exposed to salt.

The minivans affected are 2006 to 2012 models; the vehicles are being recalled in 20 states. The car manufacturer had received complaints about the lower control arms rusting on its 2006 model since August.

The complaints consisted of drivers saying that they lost control of their vehicle when a control arm failed reported the New York Time.

This is not Kia’s first time recalling one of its cars. In 2012, the Korean carmaker had to recall 100,000 utility vehicles and sedans due to break and airbag problems according to NBC News.

Kia is not the only carmaker to have recalls. Toyota and Porsche are issuing recalls too.

Toyota will recall 9,800 cars that have an electrical short that can cause the windshield wipers to stop working. Toyota is recalling the 2013-14 Camry and Camry Hybrid in addition to the 2013-14 Avalon and Avalon Hybrid and the 2014 Corolla.

Porsche will recall 207 Cayennes from the 2014 model year due to the fuel sensor reading high. It will also recall 81 of its 2014 Boxer, Cayman, and 911 due to a defective wiring that can cause the airbags not to deploy in a crash.
