Lea Michele is continuing to pay tribute to on-screen and off-screen boyfriend Cory Montieth through music.
According to E! Online, the Glee starlet revealed in the November issue of Elle magazine that she penned a song for Montieth on her new album.
The 27-year-old singer admits that she was finished with the album, but decided to revisit the studio after Montieth’s tragic death.
"The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't,'" she revealed.
The track she wrote for Cory is titled “Your Mine.” "It makes me so happy, this song," she says. "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this."
Entertainment Weekly reports that Michele also revealed that she turned to Kate Hudson to cope with her loss.
“I called [Kate Hudson] and said, ‘I don’t know where I’m going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters].’ ” Michele said. “She was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to stay at my house.’ Like it was nothing. No one knew I was there. I’ll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me.”
Michele has yet to set a release date for her album.
