The Thor: The Dark World premiere took place last night at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Liam Hemsworth showed up at the event to lend his support to his brother Chris Hemsworth who plays the lead character of Thor in the movie.
The actor who recently, and very famously, ended his troubled engagement to Miley Cyrus, was at the premiere of the film on a break day from shooting his latest film Mockingjay. Mockingjay is part of the Hunger Games series of films. The actor has another of the Hunger Games films opening this month. That film is titled The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , and it will hit theaters on November 22. This is not the first time since his breakup with Miley that Chris has been seen on the red carpet, but it is the first time he has been seen at a film premiere since that time.
His brother Chris was, of course, also at the premiere. Chris, and the rest of the Thor: The Dark World, posed for pictures and answered questions from reporters at the premiere.
