Lily Allen is addressing the music industry and all of the industries double standards head on in her latest music video. The fun parody video features Allen performing her hit song, “Hard Out Here.”

The video features hilarious situations that include Allen cleaning a chrome wheel, learning how to twerk and how to be sexy. Allen has always presented a fun care free image to fans and is exploring that side of herself even more in the music video for "Hard Out There."

Allen looks great in the video and vocally delivers an upbeat and playful melody. In most of Allen's song, the tempo is light and the lyrics are playful, this song follows a similar direction.

Allen brings out her personality and creativity throughout this video, which really examines how sex driven and unrealistic the music industry has become. The lyrics compliment the video and explore how it is hard in this music industry for a female to gain success without being overly sexual.

Allen is making a statement even if she didn't fully intend on that happening, Allen is standing up for women in the music industry and is saying it is ok to be who you are. After all, not everyone can twerk or be as outgoing as Miley Cyrus is.
