Country Music Awards hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley kicked the night off singing about feuds and sang a new version of “Why Can't We Be Friends.” In the song, they addressed the Luke Bryan and Zac Brown feud, which caused Bryan to get up and hug Brown.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Brown recently called Bryan's hit song “That's My Kind of Night,” saying it was the worst song he's ever heard. He even said he wants to throw up whenever he hears it. But thanks to Underwood and Paisley's song at the CMA's, Bryan stood up, walked over to Brown and hugged him. Bryan even gave him a little peck on the cheek.

Starpulse reports that back when Brown made the insult, Justin Moore and Jason Aldean both defended Bryan's song, but Bryan himself did not retaliate. If the exchange at the 47th CMA Awards show was at all genuine, it seems that any feud between the two country singers has been resolved.

The co-hosts may have settled one feud, but they tried to stir up a few as well, telling Kelly Clarkson to feud with Reba McEntire, Kenny Rodgers with Paisley and Darius Rucker with Juliane Hough in a reference to her blackface Halloween costume.
