Michelle Knight, one of the three Cleveland women who were kidnapped by Ariel Castro and held for a decade, has signed a book deal. She follows in the footsteps of the other two women, who signed a book deal last month.

Knight’s memoir will be released next spring by Weinstein Books, reports The Associated Press. Michelle Burford, who worked with Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas’ mother on her memoir, is co-writing with Knight.

"I want to give every victim of violence a new outlook on life,” Knight said in a statement. “Victims need to know that no matter how hard it rains in the darkness, they will have the strength and courage that God gave them when they were born to rise above and overcome any obstacle that stands in their way.”

Knight was held by Castro for 11 years and hopes to tell the “full story” in her book. They escaped in May and Castro pleaded guilty to all charges. He was sentenced to life without parole, plus three years. However, he hanged himself in September in his cell.

Last month, the two other women, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, agreed to write a book together with Pulitzer Prize winner Mary Jordan and her husband, Kevin Sullivan.
