Miley Cyrus’ appearance at the MTV EMAs on Sunday is making headlines, just as her performance at the VMAs did in August.
Cyrus, 20, opened up the show and this time she was a bit more covered up, wearing a skin-tight futuristic dress while she performed “We Can’t Stop.” She twerked against a little person who, in turn, smacked her backside.
The event took place in Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, The AP reports.
Perhaps the most shocking part of Cyrus’ appearance at the show was that when accepting the night’s top honor, best video for “Wrecking Ball,” she lit up a joint on stage, USA Today reports. Marijuana isn’t legal in the Netherlands but it is sold in cafes, with smokers not being able to be prosecuted for small amounts.
Eminem, Katy Perry and other big names performed at the event as well. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 rapper performed “Rap God” while Perry performed her Prism track “Unconditional.”
