Gabriela Isler of Venezuela was crowned the new Miss Universe today.

The 25-year-old holds a marketing degree and is also a flamenco dancer and TV actress in her home country, according to Business Week.

The 85 Miss Universe contenders had been narrowed down to five for the final competition – Miss Venezuela, Miss Spain, Miss Philippines, Miss Brazil, and Miss Ecuador. Miss Spain was the runner up to Miss Venezuela.

Eight judges decided on the finalists in the pageant. The judges included Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, gold medalist Tara Lipinski, and chef Nobu, among others, according to International Business Times.

The pageant was held at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall. As well as the Miss Universe contestants, EMIN and and Panic! At the Disco performed at the event.

Isler had no fear during the pageant. In fact, in the answer to her interview question, she said, “Fear is not negative. We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears we can face any challenge.”
