Prince William stunned an audience when he took the stage to sing 'Living on a Prayer' with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift. The impromptu rendition of the Bon Jovi hit came during the Winter Whites Gala held at Kensington Palace in support of the homeless charity Centrepoint.
Gala convenor Danielle Alexandra said the event took six months to create. "But really it all comes down to the prince, who is a remarkable man," she said. "He wanted to do whatever he could to help the cause", reports mirror.com.
It was Jon Bon Jovi who invited Prince William to join him on stage inside a marquee at Kensington Palace but the prince, the Duke of Cambridge, made one request before agreeing, which was insisting that Taylor Swift, who was attending the charity event and also performed earlier, had to join him on stage.
Earlier in the evening, Taylor Swift said that Prince William was charming. "He was very funny. I was really happy he was funny," Taylor told the Huffington Post .
Other guests at the event included Benedict Cumberbatch, James Blunt and Tinie Tempah.
