Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, is a popular British rapper. He was involved in a very strange incident over this past weekend and was arrested because of it.
It all started early on Sunday morning at around 2:40 a.m. when Professor Green called the police, because he had been mugged outside of his home in south London. At the very least, the thief got away with Green’s Rolex watch. However, in an odd twist, it was actually the rapper who was arrested.
When the police arrived on the scene, they noticed that Green’s Mercedes was crashed into a nearby van. This led the police to conclude that Green had been driving drunk and had crashed his car. They brought him into the station, and he was bailed out shortly after. Scotland Yard is apparently currently investigating the matter and has not released any further details at this time.
There were no injuries reported in connection with this incident, and Green’s representatives have not released a statement. Professor Green is probably best known for his hit song “Read All About It.”
