Richie Sambora, the guitarist for Bon Jovi, might’ve pulled out of the band’s world tour but he assures fans he isn’t done with the band altogether.

Sambora was seen leaving LAX over the weekend and said there’s still hope for him reuniting with the band in the future.

He told TMZ that he’s been in touch with Jon Bon Jovi, despite rumors that he left the tour in April because of a possible rift between the two. “We texted yesterday, actually,” he said.

In January, Sambora said he will be performing in Australia solo.

"Any chance you're gonna be back with Jon?" the TMZ cameraman asked him, to which he replied, "Yeah, some time," NJ.com reports.

In April, Sambora blamed “personal issues” for dropping out of the tour. Earlier this month, he told Australia's Today Show he left because of his daughter, Ava, 16, with ex-wife Heather Locklear.

“I just started spending time with my kid between [tour] legs, and my spirit wouldn’t pull myself out the door. I just needed to be home,” he said.
