The formation of Satellite is a story that feels familiar; a few friends got together in Los Angeles and started making music. Satellite made their debut at a songwriter showcase in Los Angeles and the rest is history.

The up and coming band, Satellite, feel like they have been a part of the rock/pop music industry for a long time. Satellite has created a sound that feels like The Fray, Augustana, Hinder and Mumford & Sons came together and created a musical love child.

That musical love child has now released their own album, Calling Birds. Calling Birds features 11 songs, which include, “Say The Words”, “Brooklyn,” “Turning On My Own” and “Saving Us Tonight.” The songs feel produced, well thought out and honest. Every single track off of Calling Birds could be a lead off single.

The vocals on this album are top notch; the instrumentals not only compliment but also help to complete a full, modern sound that Satellite puts forward on this album. Without a doubt, Satellite will be a band to watch in 2014.
