Police officials pulled Suge Knight over in Los Angeles Friday afternoon, holding guns on him and his vehicle, until finally discovering that they had the wrong man.
According to TMZ, LAPD officials received a report of assault, and the suspect's reported description matched that of Knight's. When the founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records and co-founder and former CEO of Death Row records was pulled over, they pulled out their guns closed in on him.
Knight fully cooperated with officials and even agreed to be taken to the police station for questioning. There, the 48-year-old explained that he did not assault anyone and that they had mistaken his identity. Police now think the whole assault report was actually false, reports 411 Mania.
Knight was free to go the same day, but the hip hop mogul is allegedly extremely angry he was stopped in the first place. In fact, he's mulling over the idea of suing the LAPD over the incident.
