With many different video games getting adaptations into movies (including Angry Birds and Assassin's Creed) it's only natural that another one will be too. Enter the ever popular mobile game Temple Run, in which you play as an explorer escaping boulders and other such dangers in an Indiana Jones like fashion. It's likely the film will have a large fan-base, but is it what Hollywood needs?

According to Empire Warner Bros. is trying to make a deal with Gravity producer David Heyman (Harry Potter to produce the new film. But with other deals going on with Warner Bros. and the business with the Oscar season, it's likely a release date won't be until later 2016.

In a report on the THR the film's story “would center on an explorer who, having stolen an idol from a temple, is chased by demonic forces.” Which is relatively the same premise as the game. What do you think, should an adaptation of this iconic game be put onto the big screen, or is Warner Bros. wasting their money?
