Following the top 12 artists giving some amazing performances last night on The Voice, everything comes down to the results. Ten vocalists moved forward in the competition after tonights gripping and history making result show.
It was announced that this results show would feature a Voice first. After the three vocalists with the lowest number of votes have been announced, it will be up to Twitter fans to provide an “instant save.”
Sara Bareilles kicked off the show with a performance of her new single, “Brave.”
The first two artists to be saved were from Team Cee Lo, Caroline Pennell and from Team Christina, Matthew Schuler.
Before the results continued, Cee Lo Green took to the stage to perform with his team. Team Cee Lo performed, “Roam.” Following that fun performance, it was announced that Austin Jenckes from Team Blake would advance, along with Tessanne Chin from Team Adam.
With only a few spots left, the vocalists were reminded of the instant save. Voice fans on Twitter could save one member of the bottom three by using the hashtag, #VoiceSave, along with the first name of the artist but before the results continued the men of the Voice got together and sang “We’re An American Band.”
The next artists to take a spot in the top 10 were from Team Christina, Jacqui Lee, from Team Blake, Cole Vosbury and finally from Team Adam, Will Champlin.
Before the final results were announced, Team Adam along with their coach took to the stage to perform, “A Hard Days Night.”
The next vocalist to advance to the top ten was Ray Boudreaux from Team Blake and from Team Adam, James Wolpert.
This left Josh Logan, Kat Robichaud and Jonny Gray in the bottom three, with the bottom three announced the instant save was activated. The power shifted to the fans at home with Twitter to decide who would advance to the top ten.
The artist that completed the top ten was Kat Robichaud, sending Jonny Gray and Josh Logan home.
The top ten vocalists will perform Monday night on NBC.
