Pharrell Williams creates the first 24-hour music video featuring the song “Happy” from the soundtrack of Despicable Me 2. The video debut at midnight and will be playing until 12 a.m. the next day. Several celebrities are featured in the music video such as Tyler the Creator, Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Carell and many more. So why should watch this video? Because the song is groovy and hip. You’ll want to replay over and over again. Also, the dancers in the music video are comical, ranging from little children to adults. You can’t help but smile at the things that you’ll see.

Recently R. Kelly revealed his latest album , Black Panties’ track list, making fans anticipate the release even more. After several collaborations with artist such as, Bruno Mars, Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga R&B singer R. Kelly is ready to reveal his album, which will hit stores December 10. Not only did the star share his track list with fans but the art cover was also revealed. It shows R. Kelly in a dark purple silk shirt with woman in nothing but black panties. The women surround R. Kelly as he lays there with sunshades. This album will be for sale at some retailers on Black Friday.

And what ever happened to R&B Singer Omarion? After signing to Maybach Music in 2012 is seemed like Omarion would be another wasted talent siting on the payroll list. But the singer recently premiered his new music video “Leave you Alone.” There is speculation that this song could potentially be about a lost love in his life. Omarion has also released a mixtape, which the song is featured on called Care Package 2.

Speaking of talent there are some new faces in the R&B industry and here are new singers you need to watch out for.

Sevyn Streeter. The singer premiered her song “I Like it” almost a year ago and has been performing ever since. Streeter is also signed to singer Chris Brown’s label, CME Imprint and is an experienced singer, songwriter and performer. Sevyn Streeter was also featured on Chris Brown albums and mix-tapes where most of her fan base comes. Still no word of an album release, but we are excited to see what Sevyn has in store.

Luke James an upcoming R&B singer who has created a strong fan base for himself since his hit single “I Want You.” That single landed him a Grammy nomination for best R&B Performance. Since then James has opened for Beyoncé and has tours all around the country.

Don’t forget to watch the TNT holiday special, Christmas in Washington, which features artists like Janelle Monae, Sheryl Crow and performances by Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Cee lo Green to name a few. The special premieres December 20 only on TNT.
