Drake tops the charts with his hit single Hold on, We’re Coming home featuring Majid Johnson. Coming in second is still Blurred lines by Robin Thicke. The summer tune is still a fan favorite and the third is Chris Brown featuring Nicki Minaj Love More. At the AMA’s Rihanna and Justin Timberlake won best R&B female and Male artist. Justin Timberlake also won best R&B album for The 20/20 Experience.

There are new faces in the R&B music industry starting with Tinshae. Tinashe use to be apart of the American pop girl group called The Stunners back in 2007. Some of their hit singles were Bubblegum and Spin the bottle. But now Tinshae has decided to go solo. Two years after the group split Tinshae has released two mix tapes. Her most recent being Black Water where Tinshae mixes the old r&b with the new R&B. The album artwork consist of Tinshae wearing a dress with a turban wrapped around her head. Along with the new release of her new mix tape Tinshae also released a new video, Vulnerable featuring Travis Scott. The 20-year-old singer is already being called the next R&B princess, who knows what the future holds.

Alicia Keys has released The Vault, the new addition to her website. The Vault is never before seen footage of the singer and some her unreleased songs. The singer wrote to her fans on her page “I want to reconnect with you and I don’t want this busy fast world to take away our time together.” Not only is the vault a way to connect with fans but Keys also creates competitions, allowing her fans to take her unreleased music, creating their own version of song.

And if you’re not doing anything this weekend R&B Singer K.Michelle will be hosting her concert at the Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo, New York. The Concert is November 30 and tickets are on sale, limited availability. Along with the tickets there is VIP access where you can meet and greet the singer. If you’re not interested in the concert The Black Nativity starring Jacob Latimore, Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett is in theaters now. The film is about young teen who spends the holidays with estranged relatives. There the teen embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey.
