Trailers you might have missed: ‘Mr. Peabody and Sherman’

Dreamworks Animation is bringing the classic cartoon Mr. Peabody and Sherman to the big screen.

The world’s smartest dog and his adopted son, Sherman will use the WABAC machine, to hurtle back in time to experience world-changing events first-hand. When Sherman tries to impress a girl he likes, he shows her the time machine and end up changing history. They find themselves in a race to fix the time stream and save the future.

According to GeekExchange.com , the film is based on Peabody’s Improbable History segments from the 1960s animated television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

The film is directed by Rob Minkoff of The Lion King and Stuart Little fame. The film also features Ty Burrell from Modern Family, Mel Brooks, Stanley Tucci, and Stephan Colbert . The trailer has been out for a while now but it is not at the top of people’s radars but it should be. It looks to be Dreamworks best animated film in years.
