WWE and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Entertainment have partnered up for the thriller “Incarnate.” The movie is set to star Aaron Eckhart.
Eckhart is known for his work in The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Thank You for Smoking. Eckhart has worked on the set of thrillers before but will now be leading the upcoming Incarnate.
Variety announced that Brad Peyton would be directing the film and Ronnie Christensen is writing the script.
Incarnate will the tell the story of an exorcist who taps into the subconscious of a young boy, who will be played by David Mazouz, added The Wall Street Journal.
WWE will have an important role in production and Mark Henry is set to have a cameo part in the film. WWE studios has worked with Blumhouse before and is excited to be working together again on this upcoming film.
Universal Pictures will distribute the film in the U.S. and Blumhouse International is overseeing foreign rights. No release date has yet to be announced.
