Psy, the South Korean pop star whose singles “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” lit up YouTube, is ready to get back in the game with a new album. It’s expected that Psy, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, will release the full album first, rather than releasing singles and it could be unveiled on Christmas in Seoul.

YG Entertainment has said that Psy has already recorded the album, notes The Hollywood Reporter. He’s also in pre-production on music videos for the tracks.

Psy has a series of concerts scheduled for Dec. 21 to Dec. 25 in Seoul, where he could chose to perform at least one of the new songs. If he doesn’t do it then, he could release it next month.

When YouTube unveiled its lists of the top videos of 2013 this week, the video sharing site named “Gentleman” the top video of the year, beating Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop.” The song has racked up 600 million views since it was posted in April.

As for “Gangnam Style,” that is still the most-watched video on YouTube. It is now up to 1.8 million views since July 2012.

It’s not known who Psy worked with for his new album, but he did recently post a picture of himself with Snoop Dogg/Lion on Twitter with the hashtag “#ComingSoon.”
