The cast of American Hustle is set to be honored at the Palm Springs Film Festival with the ensemble performance award.

According to Variety, the award will be presented at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Jan. 4.

Festival Chairman Harold Matzner said, "American Hustle grabs you from the start and is populated by a group of eminently believable characters as brought to life by this brilliant cast." The cast consists of Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.

The festival has previously honored Argo, The Social Network and Babel with the ensemble performance award.

David O. Russell's film isn't even out in theaters yet and it has already begun receiving honors. On Tuesday, the film set during the ABSCAM case in the 1970s was selected by the New York Film Critics Circle as the best film of 2013. Russell and Eric Singer were presented with the best screenplay award and Jennifer Lawrence won for best supporting actress.

Sandra Bullock is also getting an award at the upcoming festival, it was announced back in November. the Palm Springs Festival will be presenting the Gravity star with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for Acting.
