The highly-anticipated sequel to Anchormanwill hit theaters this week and director Adam McKay is revealing some behind-the-scenes information about Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ guest stars.

It’s apparently so fun to work with Will Ferrell, who plays the lead character Ron Burgundy, that none of the guest stars wanted to leave set.

“Some people didn’t leave [even after they were done],” McKay revealed, Daily News, citing Kanye West, Sacha Baron Cohen and Liam Neeson as examples.

“Sacha ended up staying for an extra day. Kanye was doing background work. We were like, ‘You can go.’ And he’s like, ‘Nah, man this is fun!’ He was in the background, mime-fighting people who were barely in focus,” he explained.

McKay continued of Neeson, “At one point, I gave him the most generic command ever: ‘Yell, “They’re flanking us!” But the way he said it, it instantly became a thousand times cooler.”

The first teasers hit the internet back in May, but fans knew even before then that the movie would include many celebrity cameos. Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Drake and more will have small parts in the film.
