Beyonce has broken the iTunes record for fasting selling album in three days. The "Crazy in Love" songstress sold 828, 773 albums in a 72 hour period.

ABC reported that the surprise album from Beyonce has now become the fastest selling album in iTunes history. Beyonce did not do any pre-promotion for the record or marketing for the release.

The iTunes launch is also the second-largest digital sales week overall, coming in behind Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

Beyonce did not stop there in regards to record breaking, she also broke the U.S. first week album sales record, selling 617, 213. Taylor Swift was the previous owner of this record with her album Red.

Beyonce released her entire album late on Friday night, none of the songs can be purchased individual, which might be helping album sales, reported Billboard. The album also comes with 18 additional videos when the purchase is made.

The music industry keeps track of weekly sales on a Monday through Sunday scale, which is why Beyonce's accomplishment is being measured during this 72 hour period.
