Britney Spears has not had strong album sales in the U.K. with her latest release Britney Jean. After a weak debut in the U.K. Jean is set to come in at No. 19. on the album charts.
This is the eight album from the pop princess but after a successful single with, "Work B*tch,"the album has lost it's momentum.
Katy Perry's PRISM is on track to chart higher than this later album from Spears coming in at No. 18. PRISM was released back in October, Music Times reported.
Holding strong at number on the U.K. album charts is boy band, One Direction with their album Midnight Memories.
Spears is about to start her stay in Vegas, this tour in Vegas might be the change in momentum that this album needs but already has some competition for opening night.
Miley Cyrus is set to host opening night at Beacher’s Madhouse Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the same night as Spears will open her own Vegas show, December 27th, The New York Daily News reported.
