Drake will be pulling double duty on January 18th’s episode of SNL, much like artists before him. The “Started from the Bottom” singer will be hosting while also playing the part of musical guest in the comical variety show. This is not Drake’s first time on SNL. He was also a musical guest back in Oct. 2011.

The founding member of Three 6 Mafia, Rick Dunigan, better known as Lord Infamous, passed away at only 40 years old. The singer suffered a heart attack in his sleep.

Rickey Goodrich, manager to Pearl Jam, pleaded guilty to charges of six counts of theft for embezzling. The manager embezzled more than $300,000 from Pearl Jam. Goodrich has paid back $125,000 of the $300,000 and will be paying back the remaining balance. If he pays the full balance before his sentencing, his sentenced will be lessened from 14 months in prison to six months.

Tom Cruise and Bauer Publishing have settled the $50 million lawsuit out of court. Cruise was suing both In Touch magazine and Life & Style magazine for false stories they published that accused him of abandoning his daughter Suri.
