Danica Patrick is set to host the American Country Awards on FOX tomorrow evening. Patrick will be joining Trace Adkins hosting the annual country music night of celebration.
Patrick is getting ready for big night in the country music spotlight but in an interview with AP Patrick admitted she wasn't sure if she was up to the hosting job. "This is one of the first things where I said, 'You know, let me think about that, I just was nervous about doing it, and I kind of wanted to get a few people's opinion: Do you think I can handle this? But they made me feel really comfortable. A few months ago I met with the producers and they said it's going to be easy and you're going to have fun with it," said Patrick.
Country superstar, Adkins posted on his blog about Patrick joining him in hosting duties. He said that he hoped he could keep up with the NASCAR superstar.
Patrick has been in music videos with Miranda Lambert and Colt Ford, reported The Boot.Lambert personally asked Patrick to be in her video for "Fastest Girl In Town," ever since that video she has been in a crash course in country music.
After a lot of hard work and studying country music, Patrick says that she is ready to have fun and host the show. This will be the first time that Patrick is hosting a large award show and country fans are showing her a lot of support.
