Dayna Morales, the waitress who reportedly was left an anti-gay message instead of a tip in October, has left the Gallop Asian Bistro restaurant where she worked. The company posted this Facebook message to their page: “The results of that investigation are inconclusive as to exactly what happened between Ms. Morales and the customers that night. However, in light of the investigation and recent events, both Ms. Morales and Gallop Asian Bistro have made a joint decision that Ms. Morales will no longer continue her employment at our restaurant. We wish her well in the future.”

The family accused of leaving the message sent an email to New Jersey media outlets after the story aired, showing they left an 18.00 tip for Morales, according to New Jersey 101.5.

Morales also had a PayPal account sent up by fellow employees for people to send donations. The money was to be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project but according to The Daily Caller, the project has yet to receive any money from Morales and some people have started to receive refunds of their donations. A San Francisco woman, who donated 5 dollars to Morales, received a refund notification Friday.

This isn’t the first time Morales fabricated a story. According to her friends and co-workers, Morales has a history of making up lies. Morales once claimed she was the sole survivor of a bombing to her Marine unit in Afghanistan when she never saw combat and was really dishonorably discharged for failing to show up for drills.
