Ex-Marine Dayna Morales has been recently fired from her waitressing job at the Asian Gallop Bistro in Bridgewater New Jersey. Morales claimed that in November a family of four left her a note on their receipt of a meal (costing $93.55), which stated the reason they refused to tip her was because of Morales' open gayness, and that they did not agree with her "lifestyle." However, further investigation into the claim has uncovered Morales' story to be entirely false.

The Gallop Asian Bistro released a statement saying β€œIn light of the investigation and recent events, both Ms. Morales and Gallop Asian Bistro have made a joint decision that Ms. Morales will no longer continue her employment at our restaurant,” according to Pix 11. Since the release of the Bistro's statement Morales has agreed to a mutual separation from the restaurant.

After hitting headlines nation-wide with Morales' tale of human rights defamation the ex-marine claimed over $3,000 in donations from strangers, with the intent that Morales would donate the proceeds to the Wounded Warriors Project, which aids wounded vets in recovery and costs incurring thereof. The Wounded Warriors Project has stated as of Wednesday that the organization has not received any donations from Morales or the Bistro on her behalf, according to The Daily Project .

The family Morales claimed to have insulted her has come forth anonymously to set the record straight, bringing their copy of the Bistro receipt forward, not only was the hateful note absent that Morales paraded upon, but it also shows a tip of an $18.00 gratuity. The family supplied their credit card statement to NBC News 4 .

Morales claims to know nothing of the doctored receipt, and claims that she was never tipped.
