British singer Rita Ora has joined the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey as Christian Grey's younger, adopted sister Mia just as production starts Dec. 2.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ora is mostly known for her music, though she has a couple film credits to her name. She released her debut album Ora in 2012 and appeared on the charts with her hit "Single Right Now."
Ora joins recently cast Max Martini, who will play Grey's (played by Jamie Dornan) head of security, and Eloise Mumford, who was cast to play Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele's roommate.
In November, the two main stars talked about the film and getting ready to start filming. Dornan said in the interview with EW, "I certainly don't fear it. I already got a glimpse into working with [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] at the test, and I'd met Dakota by then. ... None of it scared me."
Meanwhile, Johnson said of the story, "I just really understand it." She continued, "I think it's an incredible love story, and that's why it's affected so many people."
