The four men involved in the New Jersey mall shooting face life in prison.

The four thugs, Hanif Thompson, Karif Ford, Kevin Roberts and Basim Henry, were busted in an overnight sweep for the murderers of a Christmas shopper at The Mall at Short Hills, according to the NY Daily News.

Three of the suspects were arrested only miles from the parking lot where the crime took place. Dustin Friedland was gunned down while his wife could do nothing to help and was killed over the four men’s desire for his $70,000 SUV.

The man hunt lasted for five days with the fourth man being arrested just across the Jersey state line at a hotel in Easton, Pa. The first arrest was made around 9 p.m. Friday night and the last was at 3 a.m. Saturday morning. Basim Henry, who was at the hotel in Pa., was picked up by an FBI task force according to The Star Ledger.

All four of the criminals surrendered to law enforcement without a fight. Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said the suspects were found using “old fashioned police work combined with technology. It was a combination of witnesses, statements, technology and putting the pieces together.”

A $41,000 reward was offered for information in the murder of 30-year-old Friedland.

If convicted on charges of felony murder, carjacking, conspiracy and weapons possession all four men will face life in prison.
