The nominees for the upcoming 41st Annie Awards were announced on Monday and newly opened Frozen, Monsters University others snagged Best Animated Feature nominations.

The International Animation Film Society presents the Annie Awards, which cover 30 categories across TV, film, video games, commercials and more, reports the Los Angeles Times. The ceremony will be held Feb. 1 at UCLA's Royce Hall.

A Letter to Momo, Ernest & Celestine, The Croods, The Wind Rises and Despicable Me 2 were also nominated for Best Animated Feature.

Winners of the Annies don't always go on to win at the Academy Awards, such as Wreck-It Ralph winning big at the Annies, but losing out to Brave at the Oscars.

According to The Hollywood Reporter (full list of nominees listed), Monsters University and Frozen each were nominated for 10 awards, while Despicable Me 2 and The Croods follow behind with nine apiece.

Stephen Spielberg, Katsuhiro Otomo and Phil Tippett have been chosen to receive the honorary Winso McCay Award for their contributions towards animation. Alice Davis will receive the June Foray Award, which is given to those who have made a significant or charitable impact upon the animation industry.
