The Grammy Nominations Concert Live on Friday night will feature a tribute to Nelson Mandela after the leader passed away on Thursday producers say.
According to CBS News, there will be a rehearsal of the show as producers add in the special tribute to the 95-year-old.
Host LL Cool J spoke about Mandela, saying he was the embodiment of "moderation, wisdom, truth, justice, courage ... principles that are eternal. He represented those principles."
While there will be a special tribute to Mandela, one performance was canceled, Drake's. The rapper dropped out of Friday night's nomination show claiming that there was a scheduling conflict.
His rep told TMZ that Drake "sincerely apologizes to his fans that he can't be there" and his Would You Like A Tour? tour got in the way.
The truth might just be that Drake wanted a small break as he does not have a concert stop scheduled for Friday night, but has one for every day between Saturday and Dec. 16.
Grammy Nominations Concert Live airs on CBS Friday night and the awards are presented Jan. 26.
